Learn how to operate SPMT K24ST safely and effectively.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Employees who have to operate Electronically Steered Hydraulically Suspended Modular Trailers (SPMT). Level 1 introduction to assist safely during SPMT operations.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age of 18 years;
- Valid certificate of medical fitness;
- Minimum 3 months relevant experience;
COURSE
Training: 3 days
Theoretical examination: 30 minutes
Practical examination: 45 minutes
Language: Dutch / English
CONTENT
- Understand the nature of the sector, role and responsibilities of the SPMT operator
- Understand the types of trailers and their characteristics and typical applications
- Understand basic SPMT operations
- Understand basic knowledge of stability
- Understand global stability, local stability and cargo stability
- Understand environmental responsibilities
- Lifting of SPMT & PPU and loading on road trailer
- Lashing of SPMT & PPU on road trailer
- Coupling of SPMT& PPU
- Read and understand transport drawing
- Understand importance and requirements of trailer path preparation
- Work safely
- Undertake all pre-use checks
- Perform LMRA
- Set up single transport configurations K24ST
- Operate single transport configurations K24ST
- Able to communicate effectively
- 10 rules for SPMT operation
VALIDITY CERTIFICATE
Maximum 5 years.
